    Our client requires experienced Petroleum  Geologists to join their exploration team of Wellsite Geologists working in the CSG industry

    Applicants should have experience in the petroleum/gas industry with experience in CSG projects an advantage, either in Australia or overseas.

    Key responsibilities include;
    wellsite geology, geophysical interpretation, daily reporting, supervision of other contract teams including geophysical logging and DST providers,  client liaison, data interpretation and reporting, QC, cross-section generation, and project management for those suitably qualified.
    Drilling supervision services include exploration, appraisal, vertical production, directional and lateral, and completion wells.

  • CSG Wellsite Geologists

    Brisbane-based company are looking for experienced Wellsite Geologists for established CSG Projects

    Knowledge of Directional drilling is critical to accepting your application.

    The right candidate should have:

    A degree in Geology. Worked as a Wellsite Geologist with experience on directional drilling projects. Minimum of 5 years plus experience as a CSG Wellsite Geologist. Clear understanding and hands on experience of microscopic descriptions. Creating Strip logs of geology sections. A solid understanding of rigs and its drilling components for daily reporting. Managing and interpreting field data. Geophysical supervision and interpretation of logs. Coal Coring experience. Knowledge about Drill Stem Tests. A team player with a positive attitude. Excellent communication and computer skills.
